Avonlea -

The Cisco Kid, a stallion owned by Sandra and Wayne Hutchinson of Avonlea, was inducted into the Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada's Hall of Fame at the National Convention held in Regina this November. This honor is reserved for both special people and horses who have left their mark on Appaloosa history.

"The Kid", as he was affectionately known was a great sire and a great show ring performer. This talented, beautiful horse excelled in reining, western pleasure, halter, and English classes, making him truly, the all round champion. He won many National titles in several disciplines.

This stallion was in the Nation's Top Ten list of leading sires for years, and his numerous offspring continued his legacy of winning in the show pen.

Sadly, this stallion passed away before he could enjoy a well earned retirement. Sandra and Wayne, as well as their friends in the Appaloosa world, fondly remember The Cisco Kid as an exceptional horse and a true gentleman.
