Avonlea - The Community Development Fund is Imperial Oils way of saying thank you to its Esso customers through local retailers. This year both the Couteau Range Manor and Volunteer Fire Department, in Avonlea were presented with donations. Jan Day, Board member, along with residents Veronica Schikowsky, Melva Aikens, and Shirley Ardelan accept a cheque for $4,420.00 from Laura Shoemaker of Wigmore Crop Production Products, formerly Dean Clarke Agri Services.
