This n That Nails owned by Tammy Gust and Temptations Candles & Gifts owned by Tina Cherpin became the newest businesses to open up their door at Kashmere Kiss.
In November of 2009 Tammy and Tina, together opened up their businesses. The girls work together offering several services. Both are graduates of the CanWest Esthetics Division and Air Everything which has trained them as nail technicians. They offer manicures, gel nails, airbrushing, temporary tattoos and coloured hair extensions.
They are both also in the process of becoming licensed to do pedicures and will be ready to do these by mid May, just in time for sandal season. As well, Tina is also going to be training to do lash perming and tinting and is hoping to be ready by June.
Tina also has her business Temptations Candles and Gifts which offers a wide variety of items. Candles of every shape and size are available from Tina and if she doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for she can make it up for you, taking custom orders. Tina also does some incredible crafts, beautifully painted from small items to garden stakes.
Tina and Tammy are excited about their new ventures. Both say that the flexibility of having their own business is something that they both enjoy and allows them the opportunity to enjoy family activities that they might not be able to do if they were working for someone else.
Another service that the girls offer is special event parties. They will do birthday parties for your girls or maybe a group of you just want to get together and enjoy a girls’ night out. Tammy and Tina will be happy to work something out. Also if you’re looking for a gift for someone consider a gift certificate for one of their many services.
Their regular hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. but they would be happy to come in at different times to accommodate their clients.
