Radville - A meeting with a few mom's from Radville and Area was held at Cheri Buziak's home on Tuesday December 9th to get the group started and find some direction for the group to move towards.
This group is for all parents and Children from the ages 0 - 5. It will meet once a week for a couple hours. Days and times may vary till a larger group is developed and a set place is established.
We are working with Judy DeRoose - Public Health nurse, Madeleine Valentine - Early Childcare and Shauna Earl of Estevan who is also in Childcare Development.
The purpose of this group is to get stay at home parents out of the house with the kids and socialize, educate and encourage development of you and your young child. The group will provide games, crafts, educational learning for children of all ages as well as the parents. Some days will be focused on the children and others on the adults. We will be bringing in speakers for different topics, instructors for yoga etc., and much more as ideas come in.
As the group grows we will establish a building/room to set up in, to have a permanent location, as well as apply for a grant to fund it to cover all the costs. Until then it will be on a volunteer basis.
We are looking forward to developing a swap pile for people to bring cloths, toys, baby/child needs, etc. for people to go through to help each other out with the fast pace growth of our children.
The group is definitely still under development and looking for many new faces to join. This group can and will be a great benefit to the community as new members move in.

The next get together will be held on January 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Cheri's house at 120 Laurier Road. Everyone is welcome to come out and join us.
