Get ready for a fun filled weekend. It is time for the Radville & Area 2009 Trade Show, hosted by the Radville & District Health Centre Foundation and sponsored by the R.M. Laurier, R.M. of Surprise Valley, R.M. of Lake Alma, R.M. of Lomond, Riverside Autobody, Weyburn Inland Terminal, Bathfitter, CEL Financial Group, C&D Electric and QB Transport Inc.
The show takes place at the Radville Rec Centre and starts Friday at 4:00 p.m. and runs till 9 p.m. that night and then begins again Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and finishes at 4:00 p.m. Your admission of $5.00 gives you a chance to win a wonderful door prize. Forgotten to buy Mom that special gift for Mother's Day, there's sure to be something that will tickle her fancy.
Don't worry about getting up and making breakfast Saturday morning. Let the Radville & District Health Centre Foundation members cook you a delicious pancake breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
While visiting the many exhibitors, take a break and visit the main stage, where there will be entertainment offered throughout the day. At 11:00 a.m. and again at 3:00 p.m. some of our local talent will be showcased for your enjoyment. At 11:45 a.m. Andie Doud will be presenting a Health and Wellness demonstration. The Black Cobra Martial Arts Club will show their stuff at 12:30 p.m. and then at 2:00 p.m. Jockey Person to Person, with jewelry supplied by Eye Candy, will host a fashion show. Definitely something for everyone!
The kids getting bored - send them to the Kids Korner Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be games, prizes, face painting and a chance to enter to win a bike, donated by the Radville Co-op.
After you've made the rounds and you need to rest your feet, join us at the Lounge for a break. It will be open Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday noon to 4:00 p.m.
There will also be Silent Auction items, generously donated by various people, businesses and organizations. The auctions will run throughout the day and will be pulled off the tables randomly during the course of the trade show, so keep a close eye on that coveted item or you may miss out on it.
To cap the weekend activities off, come on out to the Cabaret, featuring the Chris Henderson Band with Lexie Tytlandsvik opening the show.
