The Community Garage Sale and Customer Appreciation Barbecue held in Milestone on June 13th was a great success. 639 Truck and Auto, Teeger Plumbing and Heating, and Annex Agro teamed up with the Soo Line Ambulance this year to put together a great fundraiser and fun day for the whole family. The tent was full of people seeking some shade and enjoying a great lunch over the noon hour! Thanks to CIBC Milestone, Milestone Service and Convenience, Garratt Industries, Flat Land Business Solutions, Saskcan Milestone, and Grainbelt Agencies for their contributions towards advertising and promotions of the event. A special thank-you to Judy Weinberger and Adele Schmidt for their extra help with the day and also to Nadeen and Chad from the Ambulance for helping out at the barbeque. Including the $1,252.00 that was raised at the Barbeque alone, the proceeds from the day reached $1,489.25!
