Radville, SK -
The kids are having a lot of fun with this years summer reading club. Between seven and sixteen kids have attended the weekly story and craft times and 37 kids have registered for keeping track of the books they're reading. They can pick a prize out of the treasure box for every ten books they read and enter into the draws for other prizes, so that really has them reading.
On July 22nd we had a storyteller come in to entertain the kids for an hour and she was excellent. To wind up the program all the kids that have been attending are invited to come on Thursday, August 20th at 2:00 p.m. to watch a movie and I will draw for the prizes then.
We had a good turn out for the boat safety course, but I do know of a few people that wanted to come and weren't able to. The instructor would be willing to come back if there is enough interest - so let me know if you want to take it.
Story hour for preschoolers, ages three and four will be starting in September and will be Thursday afternoons from 2:30-3:15 p.m.
Library hours are Tuesdays 10-1, Wednesdays 3-8, Thursdays 2-6 and Fridays 10-1.
See you at the library!
