Milestone -
A wedding shower was held in Milestone on Friday, March 5th for Renee Henry. Renee is the daughter of Neil and Joan Henry and the granddaughter of Jean Nicholas and Floyd and Teenie Henry, all of Milestone. Renee and her fiancÉe Corey Hadley of Moose Jaw will be married next month in Moose Jaw where they currently live.
Sitting at the head table with Renee were Faith Hadley (soon to be step-daughter of the bride), Joan Henry (mother of the bride), and Rochelle Fenwick (maid of honour and friend of the bride). Renee's two youngest nieces, Tessa and Sarah Henry, sat at the guest register table. The Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening was Linda Wilkie who provided some interesting tidbits of superstition, good luck, and good fortune for the bride-to-be. Friends Leanne Sjodin and Lisa Kuski led the guests through a couple of games and passed along some well wishes from Jolynne Thomas and Linda Bouchard.
The Masonic Hall was decorated in an Easter theme to coordinate with the wedding colours of purple and green. In true Milestone fashion, the tables were overflowing with beautiful presents for the happy couple.
