On Tuesday, June 7th, the Radville Regional High School Drama Club held their first performance. The play was “Death and Taxes”, a murder mystery. It was set in Hendricks High School Auditorium where an investigation of the death of a stranger in town was underway.
It was revealed the stranger was in fact a man from the IRS and the local drama teacher, played by Brooklyn Long, led the investigation based solely on her knowledge of murder mystery plays she had produced.
The local Constable, played by Gage Wudrick, was at odds with almost everyone in town and the newspaper editor, played by Braylee Reidy, seemed to spend more time arguing with the Doctor, played by Lane Carles, than doing her job.
During the fifteen minute intermission the audience enjoyed a large dessert buffet and was invited onto the stage to try and solve the mystery before the truth was revealed.
At the end the cast and crew was presented with flowers by teacher helper Stephanie Jensen.
It was a great evening of entertainment. We look forward to seeing more productions in the future.
