The Bengough Library held an Easter Egg Hunt in the Memorial Hall due to the cold weather. There were 31 children and the Easter Bunny in attendance.
The first hunt was for 3 year old and under age group. They hunted for plastic eggs in a plastic swimming pool filled with colored shredded paper. The next event was an egg scramble for 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 age groups. This was followed by a couple of games for the children to play.
After the Easter Egg Hunts the library sold hot dogs and juice for everyone.
There were many prizes for the children after the games.
The generous sponsors included Bengough Drugs, Bengough Coop, Bengough Credit Union, Nic Nacs, North American Lumber, Brenda’s Beauty Salon, His and Hers Beauty Salon, Snelling Agencies, Kent Shaver Bale Hauling, TD and Sons Tire, Town of Bengough, Woppy’s Work, Canterbury Farms, Ogema Income Tax and the Big Muddy Inn.
