Over 300 people gathered on Saturday, the 12th at the Milestone High school gymnasium to catch every moment of the Dance Recital. Around 60 children in the age group 3 to 17 years displayed their dance skills, gained in a year of regular classes. The colors, the beats, and the crowd all gave it a grand festival look.
The dance club in Milestone runs from October to May, twice a week. It is run by Kara Wolfe of Milestone and instructors, Amy Dennis and Rikki Gusway came in from Regina. The dance program has been a ‘talk of the town’, something girls looked forward to each week. The club also offered Zumba to adults of Milestone and surrounding areas.
The club participated in the Dance Explosion organized in Regina. The town dancers did very well, all of then receiving either gold or silver medals in the competitions.
