On, Thursday, March 29th, St. Olivier School held there 20th Annual Roast Beef Supper for parents, students and members of the community. A large crowd was on hand for a meal of roast beef, buns, salads, vegetables and desserts, all prepared by parents and volunteers.
In all the school managed to raise $2,332. All of the money raised will be used to help pay for field trips and Outdoor Education trips for all the grades.
After the supper the students and their parents made their way to the school where they took part in a family dance in the gym. Shaun Carrier provided the music and the students showed their dance moves. They also had the option of attending the cake walk in the Kindergarten room where they had the chance to win one of the lovely cakes donated by both parents and grandparents.
It was a great evening enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
