Work has begun at the site of the new Health Centre. The Foundation is very happy to see the project going ahead this fall. It is estimated that construction will take eighteen (18) months. That schedule would put a move in date of approximately March 2013.
With donations, bequests, lotteries, memoriam, grain donations, events, etc. we have raised $3,000,000.00 to date. What an amazing amount of money for a community this size.
Everyone has worked very hard to get us to this point however, we are not done yet. Final numbers are not in, however, we do know we still have a long way to go to pay the communities portion of the facility. If you have been waiting to see something happening out at the site before making a donation, now is the time. The project is going ahead and we need your help. Please make your donation today.
The third annual RDHCF Lottery is still underway. Ticket purchase deadline is 6:00 p.m., Friday November 18th. We have less than 900 tickets left and hope to sell the lottery out this year. The 50/50 is over $45,000.00 and those who have purchased their $100.00 lottery ticket can purchase as many 50/50 tickets as they please.

It is never too early to start thinking about the 3rd Annual RDHCF Dinner & Auction. We are planning on holding it in the spring and will let everyone know once we have a confirmed date.
Don’t forget, we can still accept grain donations through the Weyburn Inland Terminal. This is a unique opportunity for farmers to make a charitable donation. Please call our office or WIT for details.
It is getting to be that time of year, for those of you who make annual donations, to start thinking about which organizations you want to support this year. Please keep in mind the need we have here in our own community when making your decisions and remember the Foundation is a registered Canadian charity and issues income tax receipts for donations.
Now that construction has begun, the Foundation is pleased to announce naming opportunities at the new facility.
Naming rights start at $20,000.00 for a Resident Room, $30,000.00 for a Quiet Room, $50,000.00 for an ER Exam Room, and $100,000.00 for the Trauma Room, Therapy Room, or Education/Meeting Room. If you are interested in a naming opportunity, please contact our office.
