Drugs seized in Bengough

On January 15, 2013, Bengough/Coronach RCMP and Regina Police Service’s Investigative Response Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Bengough, Saskatchewan.

The search warrant was a result of a drug investigation by Regina City Police which lead them to information with respect to a residence in Bengough.

As a result of the warrant, Police seized cocaine with an approximate street value of $15,000.

Also over $10,000 in cash was seized.

A 57 year old male was taken into custody and charges relating to trafficking and proceeds of crime are pending consultation with the RCMP Regina Integrated Drug Unit and the RCMP Integrated Proceeds of Crime Unit.
