Bengough -
On April 21, 2009, the Bengough Riding Club met at the Agricultural Grounds to do a clean-up of the riding arena and surrounding area.
In the fall of 2008, arena improvements began with 21 loads of sand. This has been a wonderful improvement and there had already been riders trying out the new footing.
The Bengough Riding Club developed because of an interest in basic horsemanship and riding activities. There is youth as well as adult members.
There will be regular scheduled rides as well as clinics and equine related activities offered. Presently a barrel clinic, saddle fitting and chiropractic clinic are in the works. For more information or to join the club call Naomi Cleveland at 268-2631.
