Radville - Brooklyn Long of Radville competed on Saturday, January 3rd in Virden, Manitoba. Brooklyn, a Skate Canada member participated in the Skate Virden Annual Competition. Coach Barb Bakker had fourteen skaters participating and the group returned home with twenty-two medals. Brooklyn claimed the gold medal in the stage 6 Free Skate event with a very well skated program. Out of the fourteen skaters in the group, twelve participated in the Team Events; claiming Gold in the Canskate section and Gold and Silver in the Entry level/Pre Preliminary levels. Brooklyn placed 2nd with her teammates. Congratulations Brooklyn!
